Summary
Work closely with experienced professionals in their chosen field to apply what is learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Gain an enhanced understanding of human resources and the automotive manufacturing industry, leading to success in the classroom, while laying the foundation for a successful career.
Responsibilities
- Review HR policies and develop structure for future updates and maintenance.
- Support audits for compensation, payroll and benefit programs.
- Support mailings/communications/meeting coordination/etc. for new project implementations.
- Participate in part of the Performance Management cycle.
- Work through aspects of the recruitment process.
- Become familiar with department-specific Key Performance Indicators.
- Support Company improvement activities.
- Support and make recommendations to improve Company policies and procedures.
- Assist in department-specific projects.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
- Analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
- Verbal, written, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents related to the Company’s products/processes.
