Safety and Environmental Summer Internship

Summary

This internship will start in May 2025. Will work closely with experienced professionals in their chosen field to apply what is learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Gain an enhanced understanding of the safety and environmental requirements for the manufacturing industry, leading to success in the classroom, while laying the foundation for a successful career. 

Responsibilities

  • Attend group meetings as required to support EBS Department activities.
  • Perform tasks related to projects such as Lockout Tagout, Stormwater permits, Wastewater permits, and Air Emissions.
  • Write technical and user documentation for support and training purposes.
  • Become familiar with department-specific Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support Company improvement activities, such as compliance and inspection items.

 

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor program at an accredited college or university.
  • Has completed foundational courses in their major.
  • Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
