Supervisor Production - 2nd Shift

Supervise manufacturing and assembly processes for 2nd shift operation to achieve continuous and efficient production of high quality products.  Direct and assign daily work assignments according to the Production Schedule.  Assist Production Manager by implementing Safety activities, Continuous Improvement activities, Cost Savings activities, and any other activities that improves manufacturing.


  • Supervise the daily activities and staff required to assemble and manufacture products. Includes supervision of non-production areas in the absence of the immediate supervisor. 
  • Develop associates by training, cross-training, and providing continuing education opportunities.
  • Conduct formal performance appraisals for hourly associates. Administer corrective disciplinary action; resolve associate complaints through impartial investigation, counseling, or corrective action.
  • Maintain and monitor E-Time for hourly attendance.
  • Maintain and monitor associate records.
  • Support and make recommendations to improve company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and implement associate suggestions to improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Participate in the selection process by interviewing job candidates and/or evaluating temporary associates. INDSJ


  • Associate's Degree, plus a minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent.
  • Good verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills, emphasizing interpersonal and group presentation skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of production techniques, processes, and methods.
  • Broad knowledge of Production Enterprise Systems (such as JDE, SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronics.
