Lead Connectivity and Telematics Engineer

Acts as a liaison between customers, plants and engineering team in managing infotainment enhancements and issues related to Connectivity and Telematics domains.  Functions as contact person for internal team and customer engineers to communicate complex issues.  Performs and/or reviews testing, and analysis activities. Evaluates issues and provides resolution.


  • Performs requirement analysis and requirements discussions with customer and software teams regarding connectivity and telematics..
  • Explains current software behavior to the customer, and detailed requirements to design and development team. 
  • Coordinates with cross functional teams to evaluate, design, implement and integrate customer connectivity and telematics requirements.
  • Assists team in modifying/implementing product design or process improvements.
  • Analyzes the logs and perform issues debugging. 
  • Sets up benches and debugs bench issues for other teams regarding connectivity.
  • Collaborates with customer and development team to lead connectivity and telematics issues to be resolved.
  • Provides prompt technical feedback to the customer and project team, assist customers with issues debugging.
  • Documents and tracks issues, maintains the list through the life of the program.


  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent training and experience in product development and customer interface.
  • 2+ years experience in Connectivity and Telematics domains. 
  • Experience in Linux, ONX, or Android development.
