REMOTE / TELECOMMUTE - ANYWHERE USA. We are seeking Entrepreneurs-in-Residence to work as part of our new ventures team where we periodically incubate with our partners in mobility to capture new opportunities and create new businesses in New Mobility (For example: Autonomous Vehicles, Electrification, Mobility Services, LEO/Space Enabled Mobility Systems, Logistics Automation etc.).  This role requires someone who is versatile and can wear the multiple hats of a start-up. You will participate in constructing the overall business plan, identifying business priorities, as well as associated business and technical challenges.  You will learn and participate in the process of early customer identification, research and engagement, as well as team build out and resource allocation. This role is a 3-6 months contract position designed to match successful entrepreneurs to explore and investigate industry changing business ideas and potentially bring them to life with the support of MEMO Ventures!


  • Help identify  early customers and map out a strategy to engage in meaningful dialogue, which ultimately evolves into revenue producing customers
  • Perform customer interviews and devise learning experiments to run to help feed the product spec
  • Proactively contribute your expertise, experience, and network in developing the concept 
  • Rigorously analyze the opportunity in a team setting 
  • Help to develop a business plan from the concept stage
  • Ensure pilot customers are being cultivated and secured for entry into market 
  • Assess and acquire useful capabilities from the Company and other third parties to help further the overall business
  • Act as external spokesperson for the new business 
  • Keep the team moving at pace with a clear understanding of deliverables and timelines. 



  • Previous experience working at a start-up and leading teams.
  • 3+ years of work experience with demonstrated track record of software, digital product, and/or business management responsibility.
  • Deep domain expertise in a thematic area of focus for MEMO Ventures (Examples above).
  • Experience and excitement about raising funding and familiarity working with VC’s/CVC’s.
  • Past roles working at, or consulting to, global enterprises, ideally in a strategic role.
  • Time spent in customer facing roles (e.g., consulting, sales, sales support, customer service).
  • Execution oriented individual that understands and can apply lean startup thinking, facilitate complex projects, and oversee teams.
  • Exceptional people skills and the demonstrated ability to gain confidence, build rapport, and drive consensus with team members.
